Sosteneo, the clean‑energy infrastructure arm of Generali Investments, announced that its second flagship fund has attracted more than €450 million (about US$504 million) in capital commitments, including over €150 million of fresh commitments and co‑investment capital at its first external close.
The fund, launched in 2025, will target construction‑ready clean‑energy projects across Europe, focusing on assets that deliver stable, long‑term cash flows in three key areas: grid integration and flexibility, secure clean‑energy supply, and industrial decarbonisation. Sosteneo’s first fund, which closed with over €620 million in commitments, is now seeing most of its 39 projects operating and began distributing income to investors in Q2 2026, with a partial asset sale completed later that year.
