Swiss clean‑energy specialist Kanadevia Inova announced the acquisition of a controlling interest in Netherlands‑based BioValue, a firm that designs, builds and runs biogas and biomethane facilities. BioValue, founded in 2017, transforms organic waste into renewable gases such as green gas and other sustainable fuels.
The deal merges BioValue’s regional biomethane know‑how with Kanadevia Inova’s technology platform and global experience, reinforcing the latter’s ambition to become a worldwide utility for waste‑to‑energy solutions. The combined entity will operate as Kanadevia Inova BioValue, with Kanadevia Inova holding the majority share and the remainder retained by a company linked to BioValue founder Ids Schaap.
