Ali Osman Özdilek possesses renowned expertise in various fields of law with over 25 years of experience.  He holds the certificates of CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe) and ISO 27001 Information Security Management System Lead Auditor.

He graduated from Turkey’s most respectable university in the law area, Istanbul University. He got his master’s degree from the Fribourg University Law Faculty, finishing the Master of Laws in International Contracts and Arbitration in Switzerland. He crowned his academic career by receiving his Ph.D. in Public Law in 2018. He lectured law students in Information Technology Law and International Labor Law at Özyeğin University. He gained recognition in academic and commercial arenas with his unmatched expertise in Data Protection Law, Information Technologies Law, Intellectual Properties Law, International Arbitration Law, and Contract Law.

He started his legal career by registering with the Istanbul Bar Association in 1999. He successfully founded innovative companies in the law scene with deep expertise in different fields. His investments include Özdilek Law Office, AKHADIA HOLDING B.V., JURCOM GRC SERVICES B.V., JURCOM GRC SERVICES LTD., JURCOM TECHNOLOGY A.Ş., IDENTECH TECHNOLOGY INC., and GRÖNHEM LTD. which are respected organizations in the industry.

Ali Osman Özdilek is the author of 12 books and hundreds of articles in different law disciplines. He wrote “Internet and Law”, the first comprehensive book of Turkey on information technology law, as well as Information Technology Crimes and Law, Practical Contracts from A to Z, which consists of 4 volumes. He showed his expertise with Turkish, English, French, and Italian articles on the global scene.

Özdilek has memberships in Istanbul Bar Association and Geneva-based Dispute Board Federation and mainly works in the fields of international contracts, international arbitration, information technology, and telecommunication law. He is also a member of the Geneva Dispute Board Federation, IAPP, European Law Institute, European Lift Association, and pioneer domestic law and compliance associations.

He has worked as an expert in the field of information technology law and mass communication law in courts for many years and has taught information technology law and law of contracts at various universities, the Banks Association of Turkey and the Istanbul Bar Association as a part-time or visiting professor.

Özdilek is both Turkish and Italian citizen and speaks fluent English, French/Quebec French, Italian/Veneto Dialect, Azerbaijani and intermediate German.
